It's was all clutter and now I can find my stuff so much easier. I've saved money by knowing where my stuff is.

My mom is amazed by me being tidy, and it's been a year, but her ideas are really easy to implement. When my desk was clean for once, I had a place to study and I realised I missed it so much, and I also missed writing. I would get a cup of chocolate milk and spend at there my afternoons, watching the rain fall and being tranquil.

Now I realise I had so much free space and I don't really need a lot of things I thought I really needed.

I could write about the changes all day, but I just wanted to say, thanks a lot Konmari. You made my life a lot easier.

I think this step is often forgotten by some who attempt to do the KonMari method. Visualizing the life you want is the force that keeps you going when everything is put into temporary chaos for the purpose of having a true physical and mental clarity

The concept of "does it spark joy?" is genius! It made me realise how much stuff I was keeping out of guilt (auntie knitted it), habit, or the vague idea it might come in handy one day. It's so much easier now to make the right choices and be left with a house that really makes you feel happy. Thank you, Marie! :)

I found Marie Kondo on Netflix, and honestly the preview did NOT do her justice! I almost didn't watch but I'm so glad that I did! As I was watching, I was so excited to realize that she is doing reiki! There are so many reiki methods in her method that there's no way it's coincidence! I got very emotional and today, I'm greeting my house and sorting my things, and only keeping what sparks joy! <3 Thank you Marie for this incredibly positive and mindful method!

I did it as you suggested in your book. At first, I was not so sure I can do it properly. But, doing it step by step really amazing. My room looks more spacious now. And it is so easy to find things. Hehe. Thank you for sharing this knowledge. I get rid 2/3 of my belongings that not spark joy to me.
