Window tint and tools -

Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

TINT DEPOT is the e-commerce store to visit for your premium window film products. We strive to provide superior customer service, along with premium tint,so that our customers know they can always count on us. Call us at 979-637-8223.

There are many helpful apps and tools available, but most software out there are not designed to tackle the specific workflow and challenges that present themselves to tinters. Tint Wiz™ is a CRM app designed specifically for window tint companies. Book appointments, create proposals, send invoices, schedule jobs, manage tasks, and more.

Glass Aid is a 10 mil thick protective cut resistant strip that is meant to protect the glass from your knife. It’s white color make it easy to see through even the darkest of films. It’s flexible construction allows it to easily be formed around corners and it is heat resistant so it won’t melt during shrinking. Glass Aid is also designed to remove cleanly so you don’t have to worry about leaving adhesive behind when you remove it. This product is perfect for beginners and pros alike!

that's why I was having to go over my windshield twice to get a good layer of the dryer sheet film onto the glass; I was wetting the dryer sheet real well, but I failed to wet the windshield! I believe this is super important!

Brown jersey gloves instead of the hard card...pushing the film down...less chance of creasing the film...for beginners...u can handle the heat too...n use your fingers and palm to push the film down...and divide the film fingers as you form the film to the window...
Work for me since the 90's...when we used chizles and rocks to hammer the film on...

I use stek and Ultrafit tint and bounce pads. I like your shrink method will be using it in the future.

Thanks for vid! Attempting my 3rd try on scion xb back window, which isn't even that curved. Making the first 2 fail attempts, then watch lots more of your vids, finally psyched to try again. Fortunately I bought a 200 ft roll, lol. I also now have the rectangle foam pad I bought from your website. Someone said you are the Bob Ross of tinting, lol, (older people get that). I'm going to try and have the bob ross vibe, mellow and patient and calm. The patience for this is not my normal mindset! ha

Thanks for the mention! Had it playing on the TV and didn't even see my comment at first. My wife was like, "Did I just see your headshot?" and had to rewind to see😅

Just got my lexan tint in, regular tint and not ceramic. Is it much harder to shrink ? Haven't Had success tinting the top part of the windshield glass, I can get the lower half but top corners always bunch and i get creases. So frustrating throwing tint away
