This is why kids from the 70s who are now in their 60s are so happy.

Jamal (as guitar solo is about to start): “Ladies & Gents, this is a masterpiece.”
Me: “He he ... You just wait....”

YES OMG - Finally GENESIS - one of the greatest Bands of time. Peter Gabriel(Singer), Phil Collins (Drums), Steve Hackett(Guitar), Mike Rutherford (Bass/Guitar) and Anthony Banks (Keyboard). Massive and epic . Firth of fifth includes one of the greatest Solos by Steve Hackett. You can hear the whole "Selling England by the Pound" - it´s a masterpiece. One of the best progressive Rock Albums of all time. Next up : "Cinema Show", "Dancing with the moonlit Knight". or check out "The Musical Box", "Carpet Crawlers", "Ripples", "Entangled" and the list goes on and but least go for "Supper´s ready" - a 25 minute MASTERPIECE of Progressive Rock Music. btw GREAT REACTION !

This is from the period of time when musicians were able to tell amazing stories with music, because record companies hadn't told them they couldn't yet.

Anything from Selling England by the Pound is a masterpiece.

This lineup of Genesis is the real deal. You mention Rush and that's because this is progressive rock.

The great Steve Hackett on maybe his most famous guitar solo.. He still tours playing this awesome music

Peter Gabriel on vocals. He was the original singer, before going solo. Phil Collins replaced him.

Wow! Some older, more obscure Genesis! Cool! BTW, the video title says "Firth Or Fifth". The song title is "Firth Of Fifth".

Highly recommend, 'Carpet Crawlers' and 'Ripples' by Genesis. The costumes on stage from this era are a must-see. (5 Months and still No New Genesis!! Add Squonk too!)

I wasn't a Gensis fan, not because I didn't like them, I never listen to them. What a piano intro on this song. I like progressive rock, Im going to have to seriously listen to them. Thanks

They were, like, 20-something years old when they made this. Absolutely mind-boggling.

My favourite Genesis song of all time. The keyboard, the amazing drums, and Steve Hackett´s brilliant guitar!

"How very quintessentially british sir" - 'Selling England By The Pound'. There's not one bad track on there. Best Genesis album by far !

I'm 62 and still cry for some reason right off the bat. This is my favorite Genesis song! I love Tony Banks and all of the band past and present.

I’ve never heard this before, I’m finding it quite haunting. This is what I love about your channel, I get to experience new music. 😊😊😊. Loving the T-shirt, purple is a good colour on you.

"Wherever this all was, I was there!"

Man, we really should have him listen to the whole of "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway"; then he'll be in a REALLY different place!

My goodness, if you’re gonna get into old Genesis I’m gonna have a million requests!
