I forgot this was a reinactment and started legitimately questioning how you got all that footage in a time of crisis then you reminded us at the end it was a reinactment. Excellent film.

That was the best advertisement for a used bike I’ve ever seen.

Loved this video
My grandma rode her Vespa until she was 73 and a few years ago she gave it to me. It’s my favorite thing in the world. I’ve learned so much trying to fix it up. It’s a little 50cc dark blue Vespa

Only Van would hand paint his own "For Sale" sign.

This is the most accurate video of what it's like to own a motorcycle, that I've ever seen :)

Only a very spirited man would recreate a $0.99 hardware store "For Sale" sign by hand painting it. He even left the space for his phone number. Fantastic work van. You are inspirational.

I noticed the shots of you walking, and appreciate how much extra time and work it would've taken to set up the camera each time.

these videos have this very special nostalgic feel to them... very unique.. and very true and honest in some way. just a man doing his thing... taking us for a ride into his mind for a couple of minutes. I love it! you do that very well, Van

My first motorcycle was a 1972 Yamaha CS5. I rode it for years...until it needed an engine rebuild, and that was beyond my mechanical aptitude. I sold it to a guy who specialized in fixing old bikes. I knew it was in good hands...and to this day, I see him riding around on it during the summer. He was the right guy to own it next. Thanks for sharing your story about the TW200.

You look and talk the way I imagine the author of zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance

"I've been pushing broken bikes since I was 13..." A Feeling this spirited man knows all to well. I recently have started riding again and I am on a 20 year old Vulcan 750 waiting to push it after every mile.

Rode a motorcycle for 33 years, had to stop for 7 years due to serious health issues. These films inspired me to buy another motorcycle even though I wasn't sure if I could ride one. Riding daily now. Thx.
