In this video, I compare Gordon Brown selling the UK's gold at the bottom of the bear market ("Brown's Bottom") to Germany dumping 50,000 BTC at the beginning of a long Bitcoin bull run.

What makes it even stranger is that Germany can print up new fiat whenever it wants-- it doesn't need to sell BTC to make fiat.

This is one of many bad moves made by Germany, including its terrible energy policy and disregard for free speech on the internet.

Why do so many modern Western nations like Germany hate itself so much?

This is just one example of Germany's government absolute incompetence. Germany has had a continuing decline in so many aspects. It is so sad to see our northern neighbour going down the slope due to these politicians and their so called "expert" staff. But then again every country has the government they deserve...or so they say...Germany, it might be time to reverse course...

i love it when they try fiat games with an ultimately scarce commodity. every dump simply distributes the BTC further forming structural bottoms while the price drop is temporary, then they must print (number go up) or borrow to get more BTC to do it again.

I have to point out that the latitude is only one factor. In the states you mentioned, the average altitude is much higher than that of Germany, making those parts of the US and Canada much colder then Europe on average.

i read somewhere that some state of germany had to compulsorily sell bitcoin ( some protocols or rules ) and it was not the country who sold.

Any illegal assets seized must be sold or auctioned off there.

Germany makes it really hard for Bitcoiners. The Greens are discussing about a tax like in Austria, a hodling tax.
At the moment we have complex taxation if we lend Bitcoin and receive Bitcoin as a reward it counts as income and if you earn more than 256 € per year with that or selling private assets like on Ebay, you have to pay income tax between 14 and 42%.

And so on...
It is ridiculous.

A German here and our government is just embarrassing to say the least… Turning off nuclear power, not even wanting to find out who blew up north stream, not getting along with Russia and in the end they buy the expensive Gas from the US that comes with container ships. I even heard that they buy gas from India, which themselves buy it from Russia :D

They buy electricity now from neighbor countries like France, which is a lot of nuclear power.

Seems to me that they care more about the interests of the USA then the ones of their own people. A lot of companies and good qualified people leave the country right now. Gas and Electricity just got waaaay too expensive to be competitive. And the inflation coming from the money printing comes on top. They just make bad decisions that lead to a poor Germany. It is just so painful for me to see that.

We are being destroyed by an elite class but everybody I try to inform about it thinks I’m a deluded fool. They think I’m mad to have anything to do with gold or silver and as for BTC….
