It wasn't the DPP that did a good job handling Covid, it was the people of Taiwan that did a good job. Give credit where credit is due.

Don't worry Taiwan, Uncle Sam will look after you, they've got your best interests at heart.

Taiwan should ask the US ship the water from the US, coz the US cares so much of spending on the US junk.

Seems Taiwan would rather buy American military junk than provide water, my country Australia does exactly the same, god bless America

This water crisis is worst than a nightmare as water is indeed indispensable. I cannot imagine that people have to take a bus just to take a shower. Oh dear. What a calamity!

USA should take advantage of this situation and supply Taiwan with water: $50 per barrel delivered by LNG Tankers!
Then... build a Pipeline from Alaska to Taiwan label it "Freedom Water" $5 per litter and milk Taiwan dry!

This water problem is the demise of Tsai and her party. Looking forward to a quick demise.

As a Chinese, I feel so sorry and pathetic with our compatriots living in Taiwan province
Hope the rainy seasons will arrive soon so they can enjoy fresh water resources🙏

Very nice interview and discussion. The local government of Taiwan region has failed so many things in all fronts. Its incompetence exacerbated by short-sightedness results in the disastrous plight in Taiwan. The saddest thing is the local government has zero sense of guilt and shame when confronted with criticism from the people of Taiwan. It sets the perfect example of the worst governance of a ruling party.

Japan has a lot of 'treated radioactive water' Taiwan, its little sister, can buy from. "Support Japan's treated radioactive water!!!", the Taiwanese should shout out loud.

Instead of buying weapons, Taiwan should be using money for infrastructure . Example like Underground reservoirs, roads, more reservoirs., upgrade buildings with is rundown, airports.
