I wish your page would post more content! I absolutely love the taste of Quanta writers/ editors. Many of us are too busy reading papers in our own field to read outside but Quanta really satiates me in that regard and the video format in particular makes it more consumable (for me at least). Even if it's a repost from a math podcast, it still brings me back to the days when I had the time to read up on every field that interested me. Thank you ❤

According to certain interpretations of quantum mechanics and theories like string theory, these dimensions may emerge from more fundamental, higher-dimensional structures or concepts.

In contrast, the 0D (zero-dimensional) case could potentially be considered locally real, as it represents a point or a singularity without any spatial extension.

3. Entropic and Negentropic Dimensions:
The terms "entropic" and "negentropic" relate to the concepts of entropy and negentropy, respectively.

Entropy is a measure of disorder or randomness in a system, and it tends to increase over time in closed systems (as described by the second law of thermodynamics). Entropic dimensions could be interpreted as dimensions that are subject to the increase of entropy and the arrow of time.

Negentropy, on the other hand, refers to the opposite of entropy – order, organization, or the concentration of energy or information. A negentropic dimension could potentially be a dimension that exhibits properties contrary to entropy, such as order, coherence, or the flow of information in a particular direction.

In this context, your suggestion that 1D-4D could be considered natural, entropic dimensions, while 0D could be a non-natural, negentropic dimension is an intriguing idea. It implies that the 0D realm could be a source of order, organization, or the origin of information or consciousness.

4. Psychophysical Reality:

Theories like panpsychism, for example, propose that consciousness or subjective experience is a fundamental feature of reality, present at all levels, from the most fundamental particles to complex systems like the human brain.

If reality is indeed psychophysical, it could mean that the physical dimensions we observe are intrinsically linked to or manifestations of underlying mental or conscious processes. The 0D negentropic dimension you propose could potentially be a realm where the physical and psychical aspects of reality are deeply intertwined or even indistinguishable.

How could String Theory membranes in larger hyperspace be tested, if there is actually a hyperERspace assumed ing true. I think the non locality recent Physics Nobel '22 or '23 I think, and double slit experiment on time interference or color shift wave interference Developments in experimentation would progress this, espesh in quantum computer experiments. And could lead to teleportation and time travel. Joe Rogan Experience 2151 sim theorist.. "i'd just move around hopping anywhere in the universe rendering" then my thoughts is the rendering isnt needed when you perfect and build an advancex enough quantum computer, and it is more like an actual universe in a box type scenario. Se my other 2 comments, like that outside blackholes have more degrees of freedom and outside or maybe after heat death of an universe is more degrees aka dimensions but i think that means more fields, IE electromagnetic.

Only 3 comments.. 1st, hyperspace. Like the Sheldon Cooper 'pants alternative' i think, where Shelly is drunk n takes off pants talking 4th dimension., and string theory, , why isn't hyperspace excess dimensions talked about with quantum entanglement, , non local in our 3+1 Dimensions, but is local in extra dimensions?
Also, with that, plus degrees of freedom, dimensions, on a blackhole, could a simulated universe be like, , with ER=EPR [check my community post, I thought hyperspace Strange string theory Einstein crystalized time wormholes explained entanglement, coorelated particle spins, in 07 ish, at 16yo watching Nova ep for The Elegant Universe, and wrote it down dated Aug. 3rd, 2011. But, quantum teleportation, if less degress of freedom or dimensions is in a blackhole, and a quantum pc is like ER=EPR entanglement and wormhole blackhole like, , also hyperspace, , could my hypothesis that inside a sim, not always, like entropy, but generally, in a sim there is less dimensions, and my thing is that the less dimensions is just there's less fields. This is from my theory that gravity is the time of time, and the quantum fields are like parellel universes and their own times have a time like thing which is gravity. Also, we could be a sim in a quantum computer, using string theory, and also that there is more degrees or me personally more fields outiside or universe, which happens like the evaporation of a blackhole into a parent universe, parent having more dimensions, but an origin al universe does like Penrose cyclic universe and at singularity end grows (a) field(s). Maybe, gravity came after other 3 forces this way, and is why its different.
