Might take MAXON a little longer to implement some features but they always seem to come up with the BEST implementations!

how about with the latest version of Cinema 4D (2025) ? Even if I use standard renderer, and luminance color only material, when I render, all the colors don't match with the original RGB values. I hate to disable OCIO and click on "Change Render Space.." button and choose: Legacy (sRGB Non-Linear) profile. This was the only way I could match the colors. With OCIO the colors are so far away from matching :(

Whats the best way to get the saved Render image to look like the Render Viewer? It keeps coming out more washed out or off.

Best feature of r2023 in my book. Great job Maxon and thanks Chad.

Did you just pick the colors from a file you had open on your computer? Cod I rememember the color picker in cinema 4D can also import an image and from there we can click and pick the colors. Any differences?

Lol love the "fool most clients" comment. Because even their exact colors fool them sometimes...

I don't have this option under Color Management. Only Linear and RGB C4R26.015

Was a real dealbreaker for me that brand colours weren’t preserved in ACES..I take my hat off to Maxon for not only implementing OCIO finally, but also coming up with this way of retaining brand colours. 🤯

The biggest issue with C4D's color management is that you can't load your own OCIO config file; as soon as you load it, something goes missing.

Is this possible in Cinema 4D R26 Version or is it only in the newest one?

Does this apply to Redshift or the default Cinema 4D renderer, which around five people still use?
