What happens when you read Acts 2:38 in context? You learn that baptism isn't restricted to people who are already believers but that baptism is for ALL, children (of all ages) included...when you read verse 39 with it.

Hi Pastor! While I believe in infant baptism, this verse always gets bandied about to justify one side or another and I am always left thinking “meh”. The counter argument is that “...you and your children.” is just another way of saying that baptism is also the generations to follow. Like a call back to God’s promises in the Torah. Is there a good counter argument that the ‘children’ present at the sermon are the specific individuals whom Peter is inviting to baptism?
