I just listened to your interview today with Pastor Fisk, I am humbled to hear about your daughter and the struggles you have faced as a pastor. Not entirely sure why people say you are antinomian, but I appreciate your faithful preaching of the gospel and enthusiasm for passing on the faith to the next generation. You are in my prayers!

I'm in a conundrum. I go to a Southern Baptist Church but as I have learned about Lutheranism more and more, I find that I believe Lutheran theology is the closet to Biblical theology.

First Easter I sat through Good Friday and Easter in LCMS...I heard Christ crucified for my sins...which R plenty...at my big box Merican Evanjelly church...the message was on Gold Pineapples and to this day...still no clue what the pastor/leader was trying to say...and he had been my pastor for nearly 30 years? Weirdest thing...scripture opened by a new disciplinened hermeneutic and knowing words like hermeneutic, doctrine and ecclesioIogy, I did not hear sermons about Jesus from him...movie series, better marriage, tithing and helping neighbors were taught...with a lot of law...very little gospel...not bad in themselves...as self help...but not soul saving promises of Jesus Christ...thank you Holy Spirit for waking me up.
