Learn how to make fruit pizza
Fruit Pizza
1 recipe of sugar cookie dough
Spread:
2-8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
Fruit:
Strawberries, washed and sliced
Kiwi, peeled and cut
Mandarin oranges
Bananas, sliced
Blueberries
Glaze:
1 cup Sugar
¼ tsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
¾ cup Water
1 cup Orange Juice
1-Make 1 recipe of Sugar Cookie Dough. Instead of making cookies, spread the dough out to the edges on a sprayed cookie sheet.
2-Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
3-Let it cool completely.
Spread:
1-Mix cream cheese and sugar together in a bowl using a hand mixer.
2-When the cookie is cooled completely, spread the cream cheese mixture over the entire top of the cookie.
3-Evenly spread the fruit on top of the cream cheese mixture.
Glaze:
1-Mix the sugar, salt, and cornstarch in a pot.
2-Add the water and orange juice.
3-Stir constantly until it comes to a boil, allow it to boil for 1 minute.
4-Carefully pour over the fruit.
5-Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting and serving.
6-It’s best if eaten the day of but will stay pretty fresh for up to 2 days.
7-Clean up the mess.
8-Eat! Share! Enjoy!
