"The lady in the lake was also Dani, and Dani wouldn't. Dani would never." This quote just shows how different is love and ownership. Peter toke Rebecca with him cause he was selfish, and possessive. But Dani would never do this to Jamie, cause she loved her too much, and she wasn't selfish.

I’m not ashamed. I cried so hard. Bly did not disappoint me. This love story will live on in my memories and it will be scattered in my life in little moments. Like confetti.

When Jamie screamed underwater it was a cry of pain ... It is a tragic love story.

What kills me is not only the quote "Dani wouldn't. Dani would never." But also the fact that earlier Jamie said for them to shoot her if she ever gets dementia because losing yourself and your memories is no way to live. But yet... she begs to take Dani's place. She begs to become Lady of the lake with everything she had because she was so heartbroken.

The Haunting of Hill House may be the brain, but The Haunting of Bly Manor will always be the heart.

The gardener said the words she'd heard those years ago.

She willed it with everything she had. "You, me, us. US!"

"Take me with you, " she cried in her heart. "Take me. Drag me down like you did the others."

But the lady in the lake was different now. The lady in the lake was also Dani.

And Dani wouldn't.

Dani would never.

In fact, no one would ever be taken again.

And no one has been taken to this day.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how Jamie, as much grounded, realist person she is, was willing to leave everything, her life, her future, her soul’s eternal rest, for her one true love?
Yes.
Love hurts. It hurts when it’s real.

I hate when people say they disliked Bly Manor because it was 'less scary' because yes. That's the point. Flora says it at the end, it's not a ghost story, it's a love story. The show is meant to be more gothic and tragic than scary from the beginning. I think the way they advertised this, with the whole thing being from the same creator as Hill House, was a mistake too.

I'm here just to tell you that the note said "I love you with every piece of me left".

The last words of Dani and of course her last act was pure love. 🥺😭
Still not over it.

Dani’s death blew me away in astonishment knowing of how organically Shakespearean the scene was perfectly devised and furnished, resembling Ophelia’s iconic stir-crazy insanity simultaneously glazing her finality of death as peaceful and perfectly splendid.

The Haunting Series: come for the fears, stay for the tears.

I think what Viola showed in Dani's dream is that if she don't go she'll kill Jaime, and Dani wouldn't allow that.

I'm not typically bothered by romance in shows and movies, but this scene broke me.
