I watched this show a while ago and this still gave me chills. The writers on this show really did something here

What's ironic is that I managed to scare myself watching this exact same show by pausing and getting scared when I saw my own pale ass, dark haired self reflected on the screen

The worst part of her story is when she finally escaped and found happiness with her incredibly supportive and loving husband, just for him to get an aneurysm after a while of them being together as he was trying to help her out of one of her paralysis dreams. If she wasn’t the most traumatized person in the whole family before that, you better give her two gold medals now just to make up for it.

Basically, her story and her twin's had me crying constantly through the last few episodes.

This was one of the best series I've ever watched, but you can never get the full experience again after seeing it.

The most tragic thing about this whole show was how the rest of the siblings gaslit and black sheeped the twins, who suffered the most from the trauma of Hill House

Moral of the story: facing your fears and getting closure is not worth it. Stay tormented and you’ll be fine

This feels like that Ashton Kutcher movie Butterfly Effect where he blacks out for his childhood but as an adult begins to be able to find out that the blackouts were just moment in time that his old self traveled back in time during.

Good writing in horror genre is very rare. Most movies/tv shows rely on jumpscares for cheap thrills. This series is one of best things I’ve seen in the past decade.

The floating ghost with a cane was also a masterpiece

This was hands down the best part of the show for me, as Olivia said, "When you’re little, you learn how to see things that aren’t there. And when you grow up, you learn how to make them real."

this twist was so good. the fact that the whole time, she was seeing herself and her fate and THAT’S what she was so afraid of really makes this an amazing show.

The sad thing is her ghost continuously tried to warn her family not to go to the house cuz she didn't want them to share her fate. But whenever she tried they were to scared of ghost to realize.

Edit: Omg I don't wanna be that kind of person but THANKS FOR THE LIKES!! And also did u guys know that this was apparently her first acting role???

I remember watching it and felt so heartbroken bc she wasnt able to escape her fear bc it was literally herself all along. She had just found happiness as well before spiralling down so hard and die. The writer was so cruel lol i will never forget the emotional trauma this series had for me

Mike Flanagan is a dark twisted genius and I never forgave him for this episode.

I just finished watching this and i am so sad for nell. There's a alot of twist that shocked me.the red room that is changing faces, the bent neck lady, abigail who i thought was a ghost from the start and etc. This story is so scary and sad at the same time 😢😢😢.

I still love this moment. Bly Manor doesn't compete. Nell was haunted by her own death her entire life. 😭
