I got to fly on United Airlines original Boeing 777 200 from Denver to San Francisco with the new interior in economy plus. It was nice having the touch screen on such an old plane.

That’s a lot of renovations on a 26 year old plane. Delta has a 900 mile minimum for First Class meals service, so United beats them on that. And Delta serves canned wine! Please tell me that your sparkling wine came out of a bottle. I agree that the hard bulkhead separating F from Y is so much better than the little plastic hanging card.

I flew the 757-200 from SFO-BOS-LAX. though they were updated before the United NEXT program was announced, they are updated to the latest standards with seatback IFE and the same seats as in the 737 MAXs. Hopefully, I come across one of the retrofitted 737 NGs or Airbus A319/A320. However, I am most excited for the A321 NEOs that will start flying in December.

Great vid kiddo!!! So used to flying domestic F I forget that "biz" comes with UC access. Last flight had no time to spare. Ran from ORD F to C31 in 10 minutes at arrive at T-15 :O I also got to fly on one of those - fun fact each coat hangar is labelled with your seat number.

Hey great video and report as usual. I always get a laugh out of your unexpected typos - this time it was "bed" instead of "bread" lol. BTW, although it was terrible for upgrades, I miss the old days when the A319 only had 8 first class seats, as you always got such good service since the first class was so small. Very fond memories of flying transcon in F on the A319 and the drink refills were constant!

I gotta say I like the UA recorded announcements better than the ones on AA. There’s just something about them that feels so calming.

From what I’ve heard the ViaSat upgrades are separate retrofits than the Signature interior but I never got an official confirmation of that theory. If anyone knows if this is true or not please lmk.

Great trip report! I wish UA had copied DL’s PSU design which looks great but this is certainly a pleasant change from AA who is taking stuff away. Also seems like UA is really paying attention to better legroom, at least in first and E+. Coach is still bad unless you are only 5 feet tall. But great trip report! Thanks for doing this.

I’m constantly amazed that seat designers add so called “wings” to Premium Economy/US First seats that are no bigger than an inch and do nothing for privacy or comfort to rest your head against. Enough of my rant 😊 Great video and nice purple LED lighting.✈️
