As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.

My growth of 401k is 2.74% in the past year. In this environment does investing under a brokerage with a custodian outperform a 401k? should I seek a pro to grow my funds on brokerage acct or still hold? I have 5 years to retirement. Happy to discuss.

Dollar cost averaging is the secret to buying etf's. Buying on a regular monthly / quarterly basis removes the worry of timing the market. The only issue i have with VOO and QQQ is the current price. There are cheaper options around which allow the average Joe to invest.
There are great chepaer etf's out there like IXN, XLG, SPLG. There are also some high flying etf's like PSI (semiconductors) which have insane returns over the last 10 years (and are under $50).

Should have mentioned QQQM has lower fees than the regular QQQ

I have SCHD and VWO currently in my daughter's custodial accounts, I'll be adding VUG when it hits a better entry price.

Using a similar strategy....

Keep money in bond fund. Say TLT. ....and keep moving a fixed amount every month to QQQ. when VIX crosses 25 double the fixed amount that month and if VIX crosses. 30. times the monthly amount to be moved. ( very difficult to do that when VIX crosses 30 )

You say wait until reasonable levels, What's a reasonable level, isn't that market timing ?

You can never go wrong with a good, well planned out dca! Buy on the ups and downs and all around! Having a few strong fundamental etfs for a portfolio is a great core.

What are your opinions on holding TQQQ for an extended period if you believe it's at a fair or discounted valuation? I'm presently considering different approaches for reallocating $300, 000 in the financial markets.

What about VGT? Why does nobody talk about it, and the results are close to QQQ.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

I think the biggest fear a person has when they get closer to retirement age is how to protect their assets they've worked hard for their entire careers. The risk factor becomes much lower and now you just want to make sure you don't lose everything if there is a recession. This is where I struggle. How to generate income once I finally cash out my 401k. I have about 7 years to go, but planning ahead is crucial. I know I'm not alone. I'm wondering the safest place to stash a cash-out fund, yet still generate income from the capital. Do you have any videos that discuss this topic? I not, that might be an excellent video just to get ideas. An income-driven portfolio for us older folks.

So, are you guys still shorting the QQQ??? This is confusing compared to your advice recently which was "short the NASDAQ"

Thanks I just found you in a different video. Why should we get QQQ vs QQQM?

I have done exactly what you guys said not to do and I did take your videos as financial advice. 80% of my portfolio was selected and timed because you of your videos. I’m up 49.76% YTD for 2023. You guys are legends.

I'm confused, what exactly is the ETF strategy that beats the market?

How do you value a ETF and the valuation on it? Isn't that something that would be hard to do?

The tech sector, alongside to similar extent the healthcare sector is driven strongly by the scientific method. With this in mind, growth will potentially be sustained indefinitely.

Hi Paul. I would encourage you to investigate QQQE -- the equal weight version -- as an alternative to QQQ. The QQQE index avoids being dominated by a few (potentially overpriced) tech companies. I would love to see you do a deep dive comparison of these two ETF's in a future video.
