I've never seen the visual of the alignment sticks behind the ball like that before. Tried it - worked like a dream! Cheers fellas!

This is great. The one thing I feel like is often overlooked when discussing shaping the ball is ball position. A half-inch/inch further forward for cuts and vice versa for draws. The reason for this is because changing path tends to change the low point of the swing as well - further forward for left paths and further back for right paths (for a right-handed golfer).

That's a really good explanation of what's needed to shape shots.

Good deal so simple and easy all I have to do now is to practice it so I can get the right amount of bend I want

these are great tips, one thing I didn't hear though is how should I adjust the ball in my stance when attempting a draw vs a fade? Does the go further forward in my stance on a draw and slightly further back when fading?

I would ask if you want much shape on a high loft iron would I better press forward and punch at it? I know I can hit a better hook-shape shot punching at a 9 than with a normal swing. Would also seem better to try to fade a high lofted club with more of a punch attack or else the ball trajectory is too high. Any advice on setting up for a punch/stinger stroke and putting shape on the shot?

Great video fellas! Would love to see a iron compressing video and some short game/putting vids. Thanks guys!

Milo, when you hit a hook or a power draw with just setup (so with a big difference between path and face), the face is seriously closed to your swing direction. In your setup, wouldn’t that cause your driver shaft to point to the right so much a normal swing wouldn’t be possible?

Face means relative to how you grip is square? Or just how you set your arms relative to your body line?

Question here, is the shoulder line parallel to club face line or target line or foot line

I've heard that a "push draw" is an ideal shot, with body alignments square. What do you think about this? Trying to do it I feel I need to stall rotation a bit. Your method seems more simple.

Milo, just to be clear…our feet alignment would be parallel to the curve alignment stick?

How did you keep it low on that draw and how about shot tracker for those who can’t see your ball flight?

Does the grip change the face or does the grip remain neutral at address?

When i first started playing my natural shape was left to right, fade, but i used to be in awe of people who drew the ball, i think i ruined my game doing it, used to be so consistent with a tiny fade, draw when i flushed it was amazing, but very inconsistent, big blocks, big hooks, and ball flight never consistent, i had 6 years away from the course because of illness, got the bug back whilst in our first lockdown, ( I'm in England) there's a field behind me, used to have football pitches, so i thought oh as my daily exercise I'll get the clubs back out and hit a few balls every day, i thought back to when i started and that fade, so that's what i practiced, now back playing regularly again gone back to fairly consistent with the baby fade, it just seems to be so much easier than a draw, a few times playing I've been blocked out by something and can hit the draw if absolutely necessary but with a fade i never feel I'm in my own way, draw is hard work.
