When I was little, the beginning did scare me a bit (and still does). But at the end when the pitch stops rising, I feel relieved.

I LOVED this as a kid! My uncle had one hell of a home theater setup back in the '90s and would crank it up on purpose to scare/piss off the aunt/uncles and cousins (one cousin would burst into tears how scared she was.) Those same people got pissed off at me because I would ALWAYS encourage my uncle to crank it up!

as a liddle toddler, i was once scared of the original intro, i remember how i would pull up my shirt and cover my ears to avoid having my head use to be soo adorible back then... but i grew ok with this one because of toy story, bugs life, and yada yada yada.

Jesus Christ as a kid this was a living nightmare! Still to this day this damn version of the THX logo is nightmare fuel. The sound of it going out and breaking terrified me.

My first experience with this was from a movie theater I went to with my brother and sister on a field trip. I can't remember the name of the theater, but they were showing X-Men. I was in the middle section of the audience. I had to cover my ears with my arms because it was so loud. That's when the THX logo came on. It was louder than our TV. Now I'm afraid to go back to movie theaters.

The Deep Note is such a classic movie sound. When you saw that THX logo, you knew you were in for an awesome movie! This one is from the original Disney Pixar Cars, all the way back in 2006.
