#Rocklerhobbychallenge Today we're building a media cabinet with tons of room for storing your vinyl records and an anti-vibration platform to hold your turntable. I built this out of a single sheet of 3/4" melamine but this would also look great out of plywood!

Hell yeah, American football! Great project as well - a record cabinet is the first thing I built and what got me into making, have always wanted to rebuild it

Like the cabinet except the exposed pocket holes. Don’t get me wrong I use pocket holes all the time, not hating on those, but I think dadoes and rabbets would’ve made it look cleaner. Either way the edges looked real nice with that round over.

Nice project. In the past I built my record cabinet out of plywood and they served me well until I moved three years ago. The cabinets were too tall to fit into my new house so they were converted to garage storage. I found that IKEA made modular cabinets that work very well as record cabinets as long as they are positioned against the wall. And by stacking four bin and two bin cabinets on top of each other I was able to get them to fit in the room. They now form a 18 foot by six foot storage area for my record collection.
