That last one was soooo satisfying. Thank you

The scalpel looks very sharp with a small point so it doesn’t look to be piercing the skin in anyway just the blackhead so it gets a thumbs up from me! ❤

I so agree with you! It's so annoying when some of the material in the pore is left! We're they not trained properly, or are they lazy?

Scalpel for professionals doing extractions definitely great idea, but for random people not the safest choice lol

I used to get this done at my dermatologist's office and I remember the tech would salivate, now I know why-she was having an experience.

Being thorough without a blood bath. EXCELLENT

These videos, even though my skin isn't great, do make me feel better about my face. 😂

The scalpel does feel at bit extreme. I wish they would just steam the face and clean the skin to soften it and then remove them.

The person doing the extractions is clearly comfortable using a scalpel and used it delicately. I'd say use the instrument you're comfortable with.

I'm not crazy about the use of a scalpel, but I'd much rather see a scalpel used if it's followed by a nice, clear extraction like in this video than some other half-baked method. That blackhead right after you bowed out was gorgeous! That pore was so clean, so clear!😂

The scalpel is used because it minimizes scarring that happens when you pop it because a clean cut is a clean heal where as popping rips the skin open and scars.

Warm compresses would have eased the process, especially for the clusters of large blackheads, where there wasn’t room to tend them without overlapping where pressure was applied. By softening them in preparation for applying pressure there is a greater chance for success.

Hey it works! Even dr sanda lee uses a scalpel to lossen really stuck blackheads

I like that they don’t flick the scalpel and cause more pain and damage.

Looking at those blackheads it's unnecessary to be using a scalpel to "loosen" them. They could easily cause bruising and bleeding, plus introduce infection into the skin.

If I had blackheads or white ones, I'd choose this method of extraction in a heartbeat.

Makes me sad that some people have so much trouble with the skin on their face. I wish it wasn’t so.

I think it’s good. Looks thorough with limited bleeding and trauma to the epidermis skin

Blackheads are my nightmare!
I have A LOT of them on my nose, big ones.
I try EVERYTHING : acids, tretinoine, retinol, peroxyde, extraction every 4-5 days, no extraction at all, clay masks, strips...
NOTHING works.
