Yes, these are very painful. I think lip balm definitely causes them.

Lips are the worst place to have a blackhead, attempting to squeeze out a blackhead there gives you a piercing sharp pain as if it was being cut with a knife, it will make tears run down your cheeks.

I had a persistent one from around the time I was 14 years old and I didn't get rid of it fully until I was about 22 years old.
I don't wear make up, I clean my face when I shower, etc., so it wasn't a case of bad hygiene, my skin is just bad to me lol.
It was like squeezing a tube of toothpaste, just a long thread of off white material. I thought I got all of it several times, but it filled back up repeatedly. So one day, I just squeezed it until I couldn't get anything else out of it. Left a bruise for a few days, but worth it.
I'm almost 33 and it hasn't come back since.

Rub ambisol on your lips to numb it a little bit and it makes it a lot easier to remove it.

That’s a seam ripper she’s using to puncture the blackhead! Genius, as it has more length to hold onto than a needle or staple blade, and looks a lot more comfortable to hold onto than a finger stick device.

My first partner had really good skin, though some rather bad blackheads on the nose that made me cringe. One day, I said "Come here and lay your head on my lap!", then | proceeded to SQUEEZE away, it turned my stomach doing so, but had to be done! Then, tears began to flow and I asked, "Why are you crying?" ... the reply, "No one has ever loved me like this!" ... ahhh, yep, such a lovely person, AND from then onward, from time to time I'd catch glimpse of them squeezing away in the mirror. 👍

I drink a glass of 🍋 or lime, then I rub 4 drops of pure honey on that same used wedge then I rub it all over and let it sit for 15 then rinse with warm water, I do this once a week. And I've been acne free for 8+ years.

Why do people let them get that big! Holy cow! My suggestion for easier removal would be do to it right after a shower or put a warm washcloth on your lips for a bit to help soften skin.

I have when I was in my 20. Mostly squeezed them out myself. Gently using the sharp end of a disinfected needle to pierce them (like shown on the video) helped keep the extraction pain free.

Is it true that immediately after bh extractions are done, if you rub the affected areas with ice cubes directly applied to skin, the larger pores may actually shrink significantly more than if no ice is applied? Thanks.❤❤❤😊

Actually, when I was in my teens, I experienced blackheads around my upper lip. In the my use of Accutane all my blackheads disappeared!
