Just think of it, we all just saw much more love, affection, closeness, support, compassion, unity, etc., between Kamala and Tim, two political allies, than any of us have probably ever seen between Trump and Melania! And Trump and Melania are married, at least on paper.

And the love, gratitude, and support we saw between Kamala and Tim was very real, very authentic. How extremely fortunate we are to have them as our option, our option to sanity, decency, compassion, freedom, and a prosperous country.

My husband had been wanting to serve his country and that made his decision. He quit his job, joined the military and received excellent health care.

This is one reason I'm for ACA, especially universal health care and for Harris-Walz 2024!

It really is one of the most important elections of my life and I'm damned excited to vote for Harris/Walz, not only to help defeat Trump and Project 2025, but because this is an election that could help make my nation the place it's supposed to be - where all people are created equal and where we are judged by the content of our character and not the color of our skin or our gender. I don't know what's going to happen between now and November or who is going to win, but I just hope enough of my fellow Americans feel like I do and help make Dr King's dream come that much closer to being reality. The middle class has been battered and is on life support. I really hope Harris-Walz will pull through with increasing federal minimum wage, expanding ACA, and federal paid medical/family leave. What Walz has done in MN is impressive compared to what other state governors have done. He can't move mountains, but he built some good ladders to get his constituents a solid, real chance at breathing easier.
