Kamala Harris makes statement on Gov. Tim Walz's selection as running mate

Vice President Kamala Harris has officially selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, saying in a statement posted to social media, "As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, [Walz has] delivered for working families like his." Tim Walz is a blue collar guy (he was a non-com master sergeant in the Army and got his degree through the GI Bill) who can talk to other regular working guys.
Mark Kelley would have been great too. Josh Shapiro is a sharp guy but does not have the working class or military touch.

The same Tim Waltz ( Major Command Artilary Sgt) who jumped out of the National Guard knowing his unit was getting deployed to Iraq. He quickly grabbed his retirement pay and slithered out the door when faced with real combat, not weekend warrior. Thats one weekend a month.
When Gov he froze when Mayors requested 600 Natl Guard for the George Floyd riots. He hid from press and finally reacted 2 days and lives, 500 million property damage lost. Worse riot since 1992 LA riots.
