That's so amazing I wish they had something like that in Dallas my nieces love going to the show and seeing the princess I know they'd love to see a queen too.

I went to Medieval Times for the first time as a 21 year old adult a couple years ago. The food was so good but after the meal I got bored and they wouldn't let anyone leave until after the show...

has anyone ever gone to Medieval Times? When I was in middle school, there was an optional field trip to go there but I never got the permission slip signed. Biggest regret of my life

Here we go. They just had to have their queen in medieval times, just like in real life she doesn’t have any real power I’ll go to one with a King and get my beer from the wenches Thankyou.

Remember Margaret and Isabella of England, Margaret of Denmark, Tamar of Georgia, Isabella of Castille etc...
Yeah, so to call the Show Queen Isabella - after Isabella of Castille - is very fitting. Queen Isabella was a Queen Regnant - in her own right - who ruled over Castille (Spain) in the Late Middle Ages, while her husband, Ferdinand of Leon, ruled over Leon (Spain). Their union was the "birth" of Spain as a country, which they ruled as equals, partly because - as already stated - the two kingdoms remained separate until the coronation of their grandson Charles, who later became Emperor Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire (proto-Germany).
The "Catholic Monarchs" - as they were known after the Reconquista (the reconquest of Southern Spain AKA "Al Andalus" from Muslim Rulers) and the Alhambra Edict which expelled Muslims and Jews (Sephardim) who refused to convert and be baptized - were also the patrons of this Genovese guy called...

Just saw the Queen for the first time tonight in California. Definitely surprised, but glad to see it. No more plucky princesses to fight over

The queen is like Valkyrie but for the equestrian "warfare" instead of the nautical "warfare" for the Vikings.
