How to - Fit the Powerflex exhaust mounts (Clio 182)

Welcome to another how to video. This one is based on fitting the powerflex exhaust mounts, if you don't know they are high performance polyurethane bushes (i.e. sturdy as anything) and for £22 a piece i would hope so! A bit of a price jump from the standard mounts but make a very good replacement as they will never let the exhaust sag again! One less problem! Hope it helps you out, thanks for watching! Nice little insight, sorted mine out today! used a longish threaded bar with two plates with holes to suit hole of powflex bush then tightened with nut either end, worked a treat 😃 thanks for the vid!

Have you got washers between the hangers? Mines got them wondering if it’s stock or a past owners bodge job

Intriguingly named a "power flex" bush.
Nothing powerful about hard silicone exhaust mounts, leading to increased noise, vibration and harshness.
The original mount has compliant bush, leading to a smoother, quieter exhaust, which in turn leads to less driver fatigue.
This lowered fatigue sharpens the driver's perception and will lead to faster lap times.
