Sony Android TV: Turn Talk Back (Voice Reader) OFF & ON

I show you how to turn the "talk back" feature (aka voice reader, voice assistance, audio guidance, screen reader, text reader, voice guidance, Voiceover, NOT text to speech) on and off on a Sony Android tv (smart TV). Hope this helps.

You would think Sony would be smart enough to not turn off the edit function in the quick settings when TalkBack is on. I expected to be able to immediately turn it back off, but I couldn't. At least not until I found this helpful video. Jeesh! I am hoping Sony fixes this oversight in a future update.

NOTE…. Current model Sony. There is a section in the menu that turns on a shortcut which will allow a 3 second press of the mute button to activate and deactivate the talk back feature. If that shortcut is activated people may be accidentally turning on the talk back feature without knowing why it suddenly started talking. Best solution if you don’t need talk back is to go into the menu and disable both the talk back feature AND the shortcut.
