How to drain and fill coolant 2010 Camaro SS LS3

The original video filmed 5 years ago covered how to flush the coolant using distilled water, and draining & filling over and over again until clear. THen pouring in concentrate DexCool only until full.

This video will be a drain and fill only whilst mixing concentrate coolant and distilled water. Having done both versions of coolant replacement on this car, I prefer the drain and fill method vs the flush method. Which do you prefer? Comment below and enjoy the video.

Just came across this vid about to change my coolant. Dude, the draining coolant looks insane! Think it's called laminar flow, there is almost no movement. Looks like it's frozen 😂

Very nice, detailed video until the last part where it ended kind of abruptly. Good information overall. Thanks!

I have a question, because when I remove the metering ball my Camaro has oil and is all smeared with oil. Is that normal?

i changed thermostat and i still can get the coolant to circulate, i check the radiator to see if coolant is getting moved but the engine overheats and the coolant radiator stays cool and upper radiator hose feels empty

Just curious as to why you use concentrated dex cool instead of just buying 50/50? Is it better or last longer or something

Did you burp the system? I didn't see that at all in the video.

So what's your video doesn't explain is what happens when you get are stuck in your. Such as getting an air bubble behind the thermostat which can cause an overheating. Oh I change the radiator on my 2013 SS 6.2l non-supercharged automatic transmission sensors in automatic transmission if I'm not mistaken and makes it a L99 engine which probably makes no. The issue that I am facing is there's air in the system so is bubba and letting air out. Also burping up air. When I went to test-drive it on the gauge cluster it shows that my temperature is running normal it's running in about 3/8 of the gauge. Then when I go to digital mode I'm north of 208 while driving on a cold night. Each time I have come back from test driving it I'm opening my radiator cap and I'm low on dex. When I sit there with the cap open a spit and cooling out but it still bubbling almost like it has too much. I had turned the defroster/heater mood on so that it make sure that it pushes fluid through the heater core. Sometimes it's best to cooling out sometimes it burps and coolant drains out where I have to add more. Now is there a bleeder valve somewhere at a higher point to be able to bleed air out of the system. Cuz everytime I put in a detailed message on the internet it always wants to use other words that I'm typing in to go to that.

Looking for a quick fix if twisting the petcock counterclockwise will not open the flow of the coolant. Tried it clockwise as well and still nothing (yes I left open the radiator cap to allow air flow) really not trying to take it into a shop to get it fixed.

Have A 2015 and I wanted to know How to do it Properly, The Manual Recommends I use DexCool, however everyone keeps bashing at how horrible it is. Now I am all but confused ahhh!
