One thing though in the mixed state of tsin(t), the coefficients a, b, have to be different from c, d, correct ?
Does that have to do with us wanting to get rid of the cos ?

This is weird. Really much. Because I learned another way of doing this! The problem is it's 100 times longer to do hahahaha. We go through Fundamental Solution Set and Undetermined Set and things like that, and it seems an universal way to do all equations that come up, but takes too much time, when this would solve the ones that we can solve with it! I'm using this on the Hope the professor accepts it.

I already know how to do this and came here for a more intuitive understanding and this is just awful.

Chalk board lectures are literally one of the worst ways to teach people.
