I wished they had expanded upon Jack and Carly's budding romance more and explored it rather than sideline her after the whole dark signer story arc finished.

After watching this episode a few times, I only now realize - Jack punched Yusei in stomach, the area where he was severly hurt because of his crushed after first duel with Kiryuu. So he literally take a punch into wound... That definitely hurt and because of this wound, this will forever be his weak spot. That explaining futher episodes too and others scene when he was almost knocked down by kick or punch.
