Something that didnt carry into the anime is that the items were also on a spectrum of Justice and Evil. In ascending order the Key, Necklace and Scale leaned toward Justice whereas the Eye, Rod and Ring towards Evil. The Millenium Puzzle was dead center as it had the potential for both Justice and Evil. Notice that the Eye Rod and Ring is also the order of antagonists encountered in the series

You forgot to mention the millennium Puzzle also grants the user the ability to control probability, so once per duel when they are on the ropes the wearer can basically BS the EXACT card they need to the top of the deck.

The Millennium Puzzle also had a Luck Boost. But it only begins to work if the wielder is in a desperate situation while in a duel. It does this by willing a card that the player needs in order to keep themselves alive to the top of their deck. However, if the player returns to a situation where they're in better control in a duel, then their luck is lowered.
