i have this questions from my maths teacher, it said "A girl standing at B is flying kite.
the kite, K is vertically above A
the string, BK attached to the kite is 24 to the horizontal.
calculate the angle of elevation of the kite when viewed from C. "

X actually equals "69.2" not "69.3". A minor mistake in the subtraction, but otherwise, the explanation was clear, helpful.. just absolutely beautiful :D

112.8 - 43.6 = 69.2 not 69.3

But what if im not given the 60?. In a problem im trying to solve im actually given the value of X and im asked to find the 60.

yes it should be 69.2  because ive check it by adding x to b to give an exact equal of 112.8> a=112.8 otherwise if it is 69.3 it will become 112.9. but still thanks though, ;)
