Let us assume 3+2√5 is a rational number
3+2√5 = a / b ( a and b are co prime )
2√5 = a-3b/b
√5 = a-3b /2 b
Since a and b are integers
.
. . a-3b /2b is rational but we know that √5 is irrational
This contradiction is arisen because of our wrong assumption
Since 3+2√5 is irrational
