The construction of the much more advanced 4th Chinese aircraft carrier has reportedly started as PLAN pushes ahead with massive expansion. This will give a big maritime power boost as it adds to the expanding fleet of destroyers, frigates, conventional and nuclear submarines and assault ships. China has every right to expand its military capabilities. If not, the US, the West and including India (?) will definitely take advantage of this, especially the US. So what right do these countries have to say that China “Aggressive”. The same goes to the Australian government, since when that China is going to invade you???? (10 years ago) the Chinese have NO aircraft Carriers nor Hypersonic missiles ..Today the Chinese have 3 Aircraft Carriers and hypersonic missiles that US has does not.

China has a long ways to go keep up with the number of Aircraft Carriers the United States has, because a new US Supercarrier is already half way built, and it's in the same class as the USS Gerald R. Ford and the new supercarrier in question has a Historical Legacy that dates back to WW2 during the Pacific War.

China will soon launch the type 004 and type 005 aircraft carriers which are nuclear powered and equipped with modern technology. The plan to have six aircraft carriers by 2035 will certainly be met as constructions have been going on simultaneously. Apart from these large aircraft carriers China has also smaller carriers for helicopters and vertical take-off and landing vehicles to support landing operations near the shores. China’s navy has currently more ships than the USA and is getting stronger every year.
