Isn´t he Dragonborn? The "Trademark" of the Septim Dynasty was that they were all Dovahkiin, right? So they have the Soul of a Dragon. And if a Dragon dies, and is not "absorbed" by a Dovahkiin, they return to Akatosh. So Martin went back to Akatosh as well. Becoming a part of him again.

My initial impression of Martin:
"I like this guy, I sure hope he doesn't die- wait... Why does he sound like Sean Bean?"

Martin was an absolute legend! So is Sean Bean.
I'm afraid too say he's almost 100% dead :(

Martin was a fantastic character and it's a shame his reign was so short at a time of great turmoil. He rose to the task though and proved very worthy of the title despite being Uriel's illegitimate son. He did his best and in the end gave all he had to give to save everyone from Mehrunes Dagon.

Sheogorath is the champion of cyrodill because he says that Martin is his favourite septim and that he was there for “that whole sorted affair”.

It's funny how both the MC and Martian ascended. Also funny how one fused with an Aedra while your character became a Deadric Prince. Granted that is if your theory is correct because I don't think it's ever been stated that this happened.

I'd love it if Martin became a mysterious character for Akatosh like how Wulf (frae Morrowind) was really Talos.

That would be a good twist for another Elder Scrolls game.

I like to think that he did something similar to how the Vestige in ESO used Chim-El Adabal, aka the Amulet of Kings, to gain near divine power for a brief period of time. Martin did that but on a much bigger scale, destroying the amulet and his soul in the process but allowing a much greater portion of Akatosh's power to be used, so much that it was an avatar of him, to cast out Mehrunes Dagon from Nirn.

I just wanna point out that Sanguine, out of ALL the daedric princes, is the most... "in touch" with the 9 divines, by all means Sanguine is Dibella's weird boyfriend

What this means is that when Martin turned away from daedric worship, the Gods didn't have to forgive Martin nearly as much as if he worshiped any other deity, that ex vaermina priest in skyrim comes to mind, to make the switch he needed multiple decades and even then he still needed to atone for problems he left behind.

The fist thing I am going to do is shout at Martin once Beyond Skyrim Cyrodiil is released with Dragon Aspect.
