Martin Septim was absolutely amazing as a character. Beth made him feel like a hero of the story beside you. I also believe Sean Bean did superb job voice acting him-he feels compassionate, doubtful but also courageos.

I like how Uriel the 7th actually wanted Martin to have a good life on a farm and had Jaufree check in on him. He could've easily have had him killed or abandoned but no, he wanted him to live a good healthy life.

One of my favorite things about Oblivion was that you were no one special, but Martin was. He was open about his doubts and faults and fears and still did what he had to.

Not to spit on Martin's sacrifice, bit it was only possible due to the player character. He/She may not have made the ultimate sacrifice, but the player is just as much a hero for saving Tamriel as Martin for helping him get that far.

Good video, Martín septim is often underestimated. But I always have this question about him: Could he had concibed a son when he was worshiping Sanguine? We know that Sanguine is the daedric prince of Debauchery but this term includes acts of sexual nature. The fact that he followed a life of castidy as priest when he regretted his worship is very telling.
Anyway, there Septim dinasty must still be alive like any dinasty in the real world. It was well established and the ruled the empire for a long time. And also we know that Queen Barenziah had an affair with Hjalti Early-Beard (Tiber Septim) and that she was forced into an "abortion" (but maybe she could have hidden her child).Another theory suggest emperor Uriel V wasn't kill by the tsaecy, probably because he could be a useful puppet for invading Tambriel again. It was 347 years ago but the tsaecy could have prolonged his life, they seem quite proficient in magic. Even Wolfqueen Potema could be revived for a second time by other necromancer groups.

You know this might be a bit farfetched, but I think Sanguine's human form in Skyrim looks a little bit like Martin. Maybe it's a reference to him being a part of his cult?
