Still with Tesla stock, investors can never be sure what will happen next, bearish periods ultimately establish a new set of stocks to buy and watch while setting the stage for a robust new uptrend. I have been reading articles of people that grossed profits up to $250k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

My Tesla average is $188 and Palantir average is $17.50. My only mistake has been clinging to my low cost basis and not buying more.

6:30 As a long time Tesla bull, I have to agree with you. That's why I sold my Tesla shares set aside for purely trading when the stock hit 262. Knowing Tesla, the price will fluctuate drastically until we see at least of the other verticals perform like their auto division (energy, robotics, FSD/robotaxi)

I was buying Tesla aggressively when it was in the 150-175 range and was fortunate to buy it at 140 as well. I did trim my position recently cause of the parabolic hype run we’ve had. Didn’t want my position to become too big as well.

Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). Buy this stock and wait. You will be rewarded.

yes, we can be very bullish on a stock, LONG TERM, but think that it is overpriced (in Palantir's case being outside the Bollinger bands, dangerously high PE, having a 80 RSI, not to mention other indicators).
We know that stocks have a normal trading range. If it is outside the normal trading range, it will return to near it's 50 day and 200 day range, much less being beyond the +2 sigma of a BB.
LONG term, I am still a believer. But short term, as stealth wealth said, there was NOTHING that justified the valuation.
It's not that we want the individual stocks to lose or to fail, we just want it to be a logical buy or sell trade.

The problem with Tesla is that the hype run can front run the fundamentals by a very long time, so you have to risk it before the earnings come in if you want the bulk of the gains.
