PLTR is running and SOFI isn't so I cut my DCA on PLTR by 50%, reallocated it to SOFI and sold way out of the money calls on PLTR because the premiums were sweet and I hate leaving money on the table.

Customer acquisition, margins, recurring revenue, unprecedented demand. That's the real.story behind pltr and that's why it's a long term hold. Bouncing back and forth between pltr and sofi will wind up costing you in the long run. I bought pltr at $23 two years ago and kept buying all the way down to $7. My cost average. $12. I'm up $15, 000 and ain't selling one share. A life changing stock comes once every 2 decades if it's pltr I'm not missing out 🤣

I sold calls against my shares at the $25. If it goes above to me it is gonna crater after than. If it stays here it’s probably overvalued regardless.
Any particular reason you don’t use options to cash flow on positions you own when they pop like this? I sold the calls yesterday after the pop for $1375 til March 1st.
When it drops I sell puts against it with money I expect to make in the next 30 days. If I get caught by the time they expire I have the money. If not I cash flowed and now have even more to buy positions.
Why not do that stuff?
