Costa Concordia could collapse before salvage complete

The Costa Concordia was thought to have been resting on a flat reef. But 3D images created by sonar and laser technologies show the boat is in fact perched on two pieces of rock below its bow and stern, raising concerns it may collapse under its own weight before salvage operations can be completed. You mean ship, the word *boat refers to a small vessel, while a ship refers to a large vessel. A 952 foot vessel most definitely qualifies as a 'ship' I don't understand why people are continuously making this stupid mistake.
