Climate Protesters Clash With Cops Over Coal Mine in Germany

Police and protestors are clashing over coal in Germany. The village of Lützerath is set to be demolished to expand a coal mine in the area. Hundreds of climate activists moved into the town more than two years ago to try to prevent that from happening. They call their movement Lützi Stays. Reports say squatters have taken up residence in abandoned houses left behind by relocated residents and they’re refusing to budge. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Surround the area involved let no one in or out that should not be there. If the area belongs to the coal or energy company, make sure they charge the ones doing that with trespassing.If they throw rocks, well police wear protective gear, but if they throw molotov cocktails, then respond with deadly force.

We do need to find better ways.Over the years used to laugh at these hippie type peta morons and still don't agree with lot of thier politics but going to school to for natural resource technolgy really opened my eyes and yeah stuff like coal mining bad for our environment.This all be solved tho if the russian/ukraine war stopped or germany got out of the EU and nato.
