Such a humble person. Even with 5 Championships and millions of dollars he is self aware of the importance of education that can be applied in the real world. Truly a class act. He will be missed.

Doesn’t matter who you are it’s always awkward being the new kid in school, kobe gave off an cool cocky arrogance on the court but seemed so down to earth humble and approachable off the court, he just seemed like an awesome guy

Kobe was focused and had his priorities straight. For guy with all that money and fame you'd think taking classes would be the last thing on his mind. 🕊🙏 R.I.P

The beautiful thing about Kobe’s career is that you didn’t have to watch basketball to know who he was. The man *was a living legend. I don’t watch basketball, but I felt the impact his death had not only to the basketball community, but the sports community as a whole. It speaks volumes about the man he was and the legacy he led, he was a household name that you just knew. You’d always see replays of him showing off his pure athleticism all over TV and the internet, and as kids, many of us did simple little things like throw a crumpled up paper into the recycling bin and say “Kobe!” while we do it. It broke my heart to hear how he died and the the fact that it could have been prevented had the pilot grounded his flight beforehand. May he Rest In Peace, he will forever be remembered for his legendary status as an athlete, a father, and a inspiration to many

*(Since there’s a whole ass thermonuclear war going on in this thread about my usage of “living legend”, I’ve just fixed it to stop further argument, y’all can chill now)

It doesn’t even feel like he’s gone for 1 second. Kobe is in everything we do. He left everything on the floor for us to pick up and learn after him, on and off the court. You can’t even be mad or sad he’s not playing this game anymore. He’s the true definition of someone who left a clear and concise blueprint behind. What a legend.

This is what I always liked about Kobe Bryant the most. He is relentless desire to learn and grow. This is the part of his life that should be talked about, more so than basketball.
