Okay, there are two reasons I don't think the magic contract would have worked. The first is that I think if a magic contract is forced, it won't work properly. So because mine is being forced against her will, I'm willing to bet the effects of the contract will be significantly weaker and it's enforcing power will be much lower than it should be allowing someone like mine to break free of the contract's effects. The second reason is because she used her blood seal in that magic item which initiates a magical contract that makes her the daughter of the Lord. I'm willing to bet that that more powerful contract will probably negate the effects of the slavery contract

She is the adopted daughter of the lord of the domain in which all of these people except the man with the contract is a citizen. Who is minor nobility of a neighboring province of the same kingdom... he gonna die. The others could be sentenced immediately. For attacking their rulers daughter... basically a princess... death is mercy. The bishop guy with the stone is the lord's uncle... he still gonna die... or be a slave? Not too sure on the ending with him but he aint got no power over nobody anymore. The girl with the infant is the new caretaker of the orphanage under myne and NEVER allowed to advance or take another patron again... it was that or "for attacking the lord's daughter you are sentenced to death." The infant is an infant. Who had been sold by the girl to the bishop in a magic contract that he become the bishop's slave. The girl had no idea hence Myne's decision not to punish her with death. So the lord left the decision to her but personally to him nothing short of death would be acceptable as it IS the law.
