Good definition of S&OP but don't short change balancing demand and supply as the ultimate goal of S&OP. If can do without a complicated process that is good not bad ! Generally, need all key roles in organization and extended supply chain involved in process but if can balance demand and supply rapidly with fewer steps, handoff, time all good
