Mine is still not working. And I repeated those procedures a couple of times. Sometimes it shows me notifications, sometimes not. I just bought yesterday new 😢 It is a SE 2nd generation.

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Also if you have the bell with a line through it. Your watch will vibrate to notify you of a notification instead on a beep sound

I’m not receiving text notifications on my series 8. If my wife calls me then I my watch rings and everything else. But if my wife sends me a text then I only get it on my phone. I have tried EVERYTHING! And still shit - what bothers me is if I have my wife’s phone and try texting myself to test it - I send maybe 30 text - and ONLY 6-7 go through on my watch - HOWEVER I can send a text with my watch. So weird! Guess I’m gonna have to take it back. Sucks
