The heating boost function kicks into action as soon as you touch it. It should have an 'execute' or 'save' button, to stop it turning the heating on unnecessarily.

I have two questions: When I turn on the hot water, does the heating also turn on, is this normal? To have hot water in the kitchen, do I always have to turn on the hot water first using the remote control?

My engineer set the hive to 30 mins heat . To do this he set controls then showed me how to use it . Today tho after I push heat button I didn’t push confirm tick . But heating still went on for the Half hour . So now an wary what to do . I have tried to contact British Gas no success . So hope can use hot water . To me it all seems complicated . Or maybe I just don’t get it

So if my hive is on schedule, can I boost it in between the schedule . Also it is set to 19 . I am a pensioner and it’s been cold . Should I change to 20 degrees . Someone suggested 22 . Thankyou

Rubbish programming schedule optional, as each programming slot is linked with the previous and next slots. In effect, this reduces the daily programming options from 6 to 4. Pretty stupid!
