Boxing footwork technique

This is a demonstration of boxing footwork technique. I explain how to move at the same time as throwing punches.

Boxing technique is as important as power and strength. Power without technique puts you at a disadvantage when you come up against technique without power. It takes just one punch. #boxing #boxingtraining #cubanboxing @cubanboxingcoach

This is very different from what they teach us here in America. But every country is different and each culture has it's on wrinkles to the game. Here in America they teach us Olympic style boxing. For example my coach says Kambosos sucks and that he got lucky against Lopez. He says Kambosos doesn't have the proper fundamentals down lol. I always try explaining to him that he's from Australia and their going to teach a different style of boxing there but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. I also think American Olympic style boxing is the best in the world but at the end of the day we're going to be biased towards our own style. And sometimes Mexican styles, European style, Asian style, African style or Australian style wins and beats Olympic American style. To each his own. It looks very different but if it works it works. Theirs more than one fighting style basically so I've learned not to be too judgemental.

I’m a England Boxing level 3 coach. I will never teach this technique. You lead with foot n hand same side not opposite side. Also you mirror a opposing punch. So if they hit you with right you parry or block with left (Mirror). This footwork can be real dangerous to your health in a fight. And just to let you know. I have trained kids to become amateur champions and fight for England. So please don’t question my technical strategies. I teach more advance movement like this trainer as they get better and more experienced in time. But the fundamentals of pugilism are to hit and don’t get hit. With the Queensbury rules. You should learn them before acting all smart and embarrassing yourself thinking kids can just start learning lateral movements and footwork indirectly punching an opponent. Honestly some people on here make me laugh. CHARLISIBOX
