How To Fix Flickering Lights - DIY

Flickering lights can be very annoying. The problem can be easily solved though. The first thing you want to ask yourself is if you have recently changed the old incandescent lightbulbs to LED lightbulbs. If you have, and those lights are on a dimmer, then this could be your problem. Old dimmers are not compatible with LED lights. This will make your house look like a disco room. The other problem could be a compromised switch. If the switch is bad then it may be supplying sporadic voltage to the light fixture. This too will cause your lights to flicker. A bad connection from the fixture to the light bulb is also something you can check. If you have done all of these things and your lights still flicker then you may want to call your local utility company and have them check the connections at the meter can and the utility pole. only 2 rooms, the garage light and the living room light are flickering....weird thing is the rhythm of the flickering are SIMULTANEOUS....before this ever happened, an electrician had some problem while doing wiring while touching the living room light then he did something and made it come back on...idk what he did but ever since that day, both the garage and living flicker from time to time. and its ONLY those two in the house. i tried replacing light bulbs from LED to incandescents...the light does NOT have a dimmer...

I have 13 pendant lights on 3 separate switches. Three on one, 4 on one and 6 on one. The individual bulbs randomly flicker in a few of the lamps. Is there a way to repair the sockets? I think that's the issue. I can wiggle the bulb and it wil l turn on for a bit or a second or for days/weeks it will work, then it will begin flickering. I've switched out the bulbs and even replaced them (fancy expensive bulbs) but it continues. The pendants are individual and were very expensive so if I can repair the socket it will save me a lot of money.

I have a regular switch not a dimmer and using LED Dimmable light. Is it safe to use these i just bought the bulbs. They also take a few seconds to turn on after switching to on! Can this be dangerous?

should I remove them ?
they do flicker once they start turning on, then they stay lit!
