Isaac is that one friend among the homies who waits for you when you have to tie your shoe laces

Before he died, Dracula saved his friend, and refused to kill his son. In the words of the Captain “That does not sound like a man that wants to kill all the people.”

*Dracula realizing Isaac really is a Ride or Die kind of guy*
Dracula: "I'm going to pull what's called a bro move for you."

Doesn’t matter if your homie is a human, a vampire, or Cthulhu himself.

A homie is a homie.

"You are the greatest of your people Isaac"
You know Dracula is not fully committed to wiping out all of humanity.
He saved a human being. Loved a human wife and had a child who is also half human.

A cool detailed is that Dracula knew Isaac hated the desert, yet he send him there because Isaac would most likely survive in there as he already lived there before

Telling, that Dracula's reward for true loyalty was to spare his friend. Some villains are hard to hate.

"You have a soul, I think. Perhaps that is more valuable to the world to come..."

Awesome to see that foreshadowing of Isaac's character development in later seasons. Turning into a kingdom builder, an inspirational leader, that seeks to improve the future by kindness of all things. Dracula was right about him, and that's really wholesome.

It's heartwarming and sad at the same time; they're villains, but they care for one another, and this is the last time they see one another

The expression of Dracula's face at 2:21 is so heartbreaking.
Symbolically, it's like he's throwing away that one last closest person left for him, so that they too don't die because of him. And now he's left with nothing, just an empty, lonely, broken man.

the moment dracula hears "and a hunter" his expression just transforms to one of resignation

It was this that cemented for me Dracula's stance on Humanity, that being that he doesn't hate Humanity, he hates people.

Looking back at it now, its really heartwarming how Isaac didn't waste the gift Dracula gave him by giving him another chance at life. At first he tried to throw it away in his quest for revenge, but in the end, he actually honored his wish and set his gaze upon the future instead of dwelling in the past. Its weirdly poetic.

The fact that this is one of the only times Isaac ever lost his composure makes this scene all the more impactful.

Issac was the best character of the show. From his voice talent, costume design, ambitions and ideals, personality and charisma. Context wise, he is the perfect character. My man stood ten toes for a Vampire King, he’s solidified in the books
