“Don’t mistake me for a witch.”
Yikes, that’s some pretty deadly foreshadowing

Now THIS is how you do a vampire romance!

Lisa has more balls that most men. Sassing Dracula like that.

I love how their son Alucard is the perfect combo of the two. Hes got his fathers physical proweress, silky hair, and quiet reclusive nature, but the hair, eye, and skin coloring as his mother, her kind heart and sass which is mostly directed at Belmont. Fricken love the characters in this show.

Though we only get a hint of their relationship, I like the dynamic between these two...this Dracula is clearly one who is tired of humanity, tired of their superstition, and possibly has had to fight them off time and again. He is basically a recluse, who only attacks if they bother him. So when an enlightened woman boldly knocks on his door, has a polite conversation, and doesn't immediately brand him a monster, I imagine he's quite perplexed.

I believe some reviewer mentioned that Lisa Tepes is the only one who demonstrates Christian values in the whole show. To love and aid your fellow man.

in the end Lisa's words reminds of Alucard: "please, this is not a bar fight, show some class"

To be fair, it's got to be strange for an immortal. Particularly a vampire.

Imagine you're a bit peckish and a talking cheeseburger arrives at your door, demanding that you teach it.

This food item wants to speak to you? And expects to be treated like a person? And you're expected to NOT bite into it? Let it go to waste? Isn't the idea of teaching it a joke? It's going to go bad in a couple of days anyway. Especially compared to your lifespan of decades. Not eating it, let alone teaching it things, would be such a frivolous use of time.

More credit to Lisa then, that she had such an effect on Dracula. She must have been quite the cheeseburger.

And in less than ten minutes of screentime, Lisa establishes herself as one of the most beloved characters in this show.

"Yeah, yeah, nerd, I know you're Dracula. Very scary. Now gimme all your science!"

"Perhaps I could help you relearn some manners?"

Lisa overcame her very fears, by being able to meet Dracula himself. I adore this fantastic woman!

Lise made one hell of an impression in just a few minutes. No wonder Dracula was so impressed with her, and he wasn't the only one.

We need to see more of their interaction, and baby Alucard too.

I hear some people complaining that we didn't get more of their relationship other than the beginning, but honestly? I'm fine with what we got. We see Lisa standing assertive and showing that she won't allow Dracula to dictate the terms of their relationship, Dracula's fascination and intrigue with a human who treats him like a person and equal, and the beginning's of how they would eventually come to love each other. It's Beauty and the Beast, without having to sit through ANOTHER telling of Beauty and the Beast.

Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme, which is why we don't need to see the whole thing for the hundredth time!

I honestly found the entirety of this scene very charming - I'm not sure why you cut out the rest of it. In the end, I wound up sympathizing with Dracula when he was so upset about her death. He went too far, indeed, but I don't blame the reason for his judgement.

She's frightened for like two seconds and then rapidly becomes extremely unimpressed. Beautiful.
