If all you care about is getting a job...fine but there are those of us who care more about getting a product to market.
Python is a wannabe BASIC with a new name but still slow.
BASIC is still available everywhere, interpreted and compiled. BASIC has enabled me to be self employed since 1987.
Today I develop for Android and iOS, using a common syntax.

Check out B4A and B4i from Anywhere Software.

I also use BASIC for high performance, real-time microcontroller developments.

i have a peculiar problem with VS 2010. i have been working on my first significant program within visual studio (C++) (all of the files are also .cpp). i am to the point where i believe the code is complete and ready for testing. the issue comes in whenever i try to create a build. it pops a long series of errors (which i would expect somewhat from an early build). the problem is that many of these errors when i click on the file and open it will quickly be acknowledged by VS as not actually being errors without me having to do anything to correct them. when i run the "clean" function it returns with "clean 1 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 skipped" which seems like a positive response to me, but when i try to build again all of the same errors pop up all over again. when i try to build VS seems to forget how to read many of the structs and classes i have made, but then after i open the file it remembers them after a few seconds. i have done several hours of searching around online tinkering within visual studio and looked at many trouble shooting posts. i would like to clear up any fake errors so that i can get to work correcting the actual errors. if anyone sees this and has suggestion please respond, until then i will continue digging through the internet.

You forgot C# and .NET platform. I think Python is the leader (unfortunately), next is JS (with frameworks and NodeJS), JAVABackend/JEE, C/C++/C# these are important, and there are many PHP webpages (very cheap but non-user friendly web development).

I would suggest learning Scala instead of Kotlin, Kotlin is only widely used for Android development, Scala has all of Kotlin's features, but not vice versa. Scala is also used for big data programming and machine learning.

A lot depends on what you want to create. Almost every programming language is used for a different thing.
Javascript is good choice, i think that PHP is the best for backend web development. He has biggest community, libraries, solve for all problems and a long term development. not by accident the largest percentage of internet sites are in PHP. ;)
