West does a pre program for the legendary group Smokie at the Sunbed arena in Pretoria, South Africa.

One weekend last April (so 2024) while we were out of town this song kept playing several times and we just loved it. Seemed to be playing everywhere we went that weekend. That Saturday evening we walked into a small bar in the Arizona desert of Havasu with just a few people inside and to our suprise a two person live bad, a couple songs in, the lead singer with "one of the most incredible voices" sang this song with such emotion, sound and soul, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard before. The next morning we were awoken very early in the morning by a friend letting us know that our 24 year old son had committed suicide the day before. Im still trying to figure out if it was his angel speaking to us or what exactly it all ment but to this day me and my wife can't listen to this song without crying and thinking of him. It's a beautiful song and I'll forever be searching for all the answers to what God's plan is for me to do here still and how to help others. It's hard to understand why my son was needed or ready for heaven so soon but I'll continue searching for direction and sharing his story. His internal sadness and struggles brought on from CTE or several blows to the head over the years from sports and different accidents caused him incredible pain and I'm glad he's no longer suffering. Anyway thank you a beautiful version of this song ❤
