What do you think about the discovery of prototypes such as this? Do you think the VALUE is appropriate?

I think if the auction were more well publicized, or on a more publicly trafficked auction site like eBay, it would have gone for well over $600. I don’t think low 5 figures would be unreasonable. The fact that the story blew up and we’re all talking about it post-auction shows how many people are truly interested in this. Let’s face it, a lot of people loved the Wii and the controller was pretty groundbreaking. This isn’t a prototype of just any old controller. Someone got away with a real steal on that auction.

These prototype for gaming should be in Gaming Museum

They should have waited to sell this about 15 years for full-on Wii nostalgia to set in with the younger kids.

I remember hearing about these a few years ago, it's cool to finally see what they looked like.

Neat to see the prototype! It looks like an ergonomic nightmare, though. ;)

That's pretty cool, I've always found Wii development stuff to be interesting.

I mean this is cool that it exist but it doesn't strike me as something I would spend an exorbitant amount of money on but hey to each his own

I love all the "manchild" comments coming from guys posting on a video about video games. And all because someone made a mean comment about them because of a, what was it again, oh that's right a video game! People have a right to their opinion. But this is allot of aggro over a comment about a game. If you don't like it you can simply move on. Nobody is obligated to cater to you because your a fan. I don't agree with everything Pat and Ian say but who would? How fucking boring would life be if we all just agreed with each other all the time.

Anyone else find it strange that YouTube is the only place where someone can show up to your job, literally try to start a fight and not get thrown out of the fucking building?!! Maybe I'm just used to working at a government facility but if anyone showed up at my job acting like this they would get one chance to leave politely. If you don't comply you get physically removed in hand cuffs and turned over to local authorities. That's the kind of thing that keeps people acting civil.

This isn't the Wii, this is the Revolution! xD
Edit: Whoops, Ian already knew.

When you see the dislikes and it's because they're still going on about Diablo.

I disagreed with their opinions and how they expressed them, but commenting on their other videos seems a bit much, eh.

If they were to address it, it would be on twitter. And I can see Pat MAYBE thinking he was in the wrong, but Ian's sticking to his guns.

I understand why everyone is upset with the Diablo video and disliking it to all hell, but what does that video have to do with the other videos?
